Who are you anyway?

Do you offer CLICK & COLLECT? We sure do!

We offer NEXT TRADING DAY PICK UP.  Purchases may be collected from us between Wednesday & Sunday 10am - 3pm. (Note: at a minimum the following business day after they're ordered.) Not able to attend at those times? Simply Facebook message or email us to arrange a collection time suitable to you.

PLEASE ONLY CHOOSE THIS OPTION if you can attend the store at those times OR have PREARRANGED a different time/day by messenger BEFOREHAND*.

*Simply contact us by Messenger if you'd like to arrange a different day/time for collection. 

Why isn’t everything you sell in your shop available in your online store? I want all the things!

Aw shucks that's lovely of you and we appreciate your enthusiasm! Our bricks and mortar shop is very, very full of awesome creations. Lots of them are by independent Aussie makers who have their own online stores. Our online store mostly focusses on Anorak® designs/creations and other goodies exclusive to Blackbird Corner as  we’ve been asked soooo many times in our 17 years here to sell them online. We have added some of your fave Aussie Designers and makers that we stock in store too though.

But I really need something that I saw on your social media, and can’t possibly get to Newcastle. Can you help?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to email us at blackbirdcorner@yahoo.com.au or private message us on our Facebook page and we’ll hopefully be able to help! We can then add it to the Custom Orders section for you!!

We accept orders that way regularly.

What’s the best way to contact you?

You’re welcome to email us at blackbirdcorner@yahoo.com.au or private message us on our Facebook page and we’ll be able to help. Often, the person behind the counter in our actual store has no access to the online store side of things so calling the shop would likely be of no use. We are internet addicts so will generally reply same day to online enquiries. Just make sure you don’t use a subject line that sounds spammy or we'll miss out on seeing it!

Do you gift wrap online orders?

We sure do! All purchases will arrive either gift wrapped or in a cute little paper bag! With the price removed - of course!

And each of our Anorak Designs® Tshirts comes in a complementary, printed calico bag and wrapped!

And, if you ask nicely, we will include a gift tag with a personal message from you if you’re having the order posted directly to a gift recipient. See! That’s awesome!

How do I best care for my awesome new Anorak Tee(s)?

HAND WASH IN COLD WATER :: IRON INSIDE OUT :: DO NOT PUT IN CLOTHES DRYER EVER - drip dry somewhere in the shade! Then it’ll last you for a crazily long time!

Do you post internationally?

No. At this stage we don’t I’m afraid.

How are your orders shipped?

We use compostable satchels and Australia Post which is trackable and, in our experience, very reliable. We post orders as fast as we can; often same day but always the next day if not same day. Of course, once the package is posted, we have no control over Australia Post and the time that they take to get it to you! But hopefully it'll be quick smart!! 

I want to order all of the things! How can I pay you?

All prices are shown in AUD$

PAYPAL is accepted for payment of goods.

For Credit Card Customers: You do not need a Paypal account to pay for your items through Paypal.

1. At checkout select ‘Checkout with Paypal’

2. On the Paypal page select ‘Checkout as guest’

3. You can now pay with a credit / debit card without signing up to Paypal.
